This is a close up of one of the blooms. It is a little blotched from the rain. The petals before they open are so big, they actually remain cracked at the top of the bloom for days before it opens, allowing water to seep in and lay on the petals until it opens. Look at the center of this flower, it looks like a bright light, or the sun, is in the center. Still one of my favorites:

Seminole Blood
This daylily is called Seminole Blood. Last year, the first year in the garden, this was a proflic bloomer. This year, looks to be the same. The blooms are so much darker this year than last. This actually looks like it is maroon.
