Rudbeckia Cherry Brandy
I have to show you all 3 of these pictures of my Rudbeckia Cherry Brandy in bloom. I'm telling you, this plant is spectular. It is about 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide and just covered in blooms, with lots still not open. This one was well worth the wait. In the above pictures, click on the photos, you can see pollen on the flower petals.

Rudbeckia Cherry Brandy
This is my Rudbeckia Cherry Brandy that I planted last year and it never germinated. This year, I had one plant (this one) start to come up and I left it right where it was. I wanted this plant so badly last year, it was planted from seeds. I am particular fond of this plant in my garden.

Rudbeckia Cherry Brandy
Rudbeckia Cherry Brandy is getting bigger. This bloom has a long way to go before it is fully formed. The plant is loaded with buds.

Rudbeckia Cherry Brandy
Once again, I show you this most unusual looking flower bud. In this picture you can see the red tinge color around the center of this flower. It is not some type of spider!! This will end up being a red flower with a brown center. You need to click on the picture to get a close up view.

Rudbeckia Cherry Brandy
This is NOT a spider. Click on this picture to see a larger view, the hairy leaf and the center of the bloom is so interesting looking at this stage of bloom. This will be a red rudbeckia daisy flower when fully open. The plant is loaded with buds right now. This was planted last year and did nothing in my garden. Has come back wonderful, just this one plant, no others.

Rudbeckia Cherry Brandy
This was a poor germination from seed last year. I only had this one plant come back from last year's seeding. It looks like a big healthy plant, looking forward to seeing the blooms. This picture also shows my new garden labels this year. I used the P-Touch clear lables on the tag, I've read about how reliable this plant tag will be to the weather conditions.
