Gerbera Daisy

This is a fully open Gerbera Daisy.  Some of the leaves are spotted white, not sure what it means, could be that it is because the petals just unfurled from a tight bud.  In any event, the color is very pretty.

Lollipop Gerbera

This is my "showpiece" plant this year. I had looked at this huge plant at Lowe's for 3 weeks, avoiding it due to the $29.99 price tag. Finally, I bought it for myself for Mother's Day and it has not disappointed in the Garden. This flower holds up to the pounding rain, cold nights and very hot sun. I believe this is the color called Mango.
