Tigridia flowers

Tigridia pavonia--Tiger Flower

These Tigridia's are a lot like the daylilies, they only have blooms that last for one day.  Unfortunately, Diane was at the garden just as they were starting to open, so I doubt you will get to see a fully open flower on most of them.  The top yellow one is fully open.  The Tigridia is a bulb and not a plant, like the bulb of a gladious.  I only have a few of these bulbs in my garden.
